4 soldiers killed in helicopter crash near JBLM identified
Four common basic Lewis McCHORD soldiers killed in a helicopter accident on September 17 were identified.
When the helicopter collapsed, a US army was in the MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter for routine flight training. The reason for the accident is still under investigation.

In a statement, Commander Col. Stephen Smith said:
“The 4th Battalion, 160. Special Operation Aviation Regiment (in the air), which lost his life tragically during a training mission, confirms the loss of four brave night followers. Unchanging self -sacrifice and perfection that defines the spirit of the Ordu and Ordu special operations will be engraved in our hearts and at the same time.
“While mourning his losses, we are united to honor their memory and extraordinary devotion to the mission. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, loved and all night followers for this extremely difficult time.”
