Anthony Richardson exits early with hand injury in Colts’ NFL preseason opener against Ravens
Richardson, who started the addition of offseason Daniel Jones, suffered a right Pinkie injury in his second driving after Baltimore was dismissed by David Ojabo. Repeats showed that the finger was strangely bent, and made Richardson’s output and replaced by Jones.
In limited action, Richardson completed 2 out of 3 transitions in 2 21 yards. The first round of the 2023 is struggling to maintain its starting role after the 2024 season, which includes 11 start and a short bench in favor of Joe Flacco.
At the end of the season, the rookie has been cut short with shoulder surgery, and a series of bends have been injured since then, including a tilted coercion, rear spasms and a final shoulder problem that kept it away from the compulsory miniCamp.
