Moscow starts direct flights to North Korea amid decline in options for Russian tourists | North Korea

Direct flights from Moscow to North Korea began in the midst of the decline in the options of Russian tourists traveling abroad.

According to the website of Shemetyevo Airport, the first Moscow-Pyong flight operated by Russia’s Nordwind Airlines departed on Sunday and went down to the capital of North Korea about eight hours later.

The first return flight from Pyongyang to Moscow took place on Tuesday.

Russia and North Korea have been creating military bonds in recent years and Pyongyang has been supplying unity and weapons for Russia’s military operations in Ukraine. Last year, they signed a mutual defense agreement that Russian President Vladimir Putin visited North Korea.
