Man charged after fatal stabbing in coastal suburb

A young man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death during a fight in a seaside suburb.
The 20-year-old was arrested on Monday night after emergency services were called to a property on Buff Point Avenue in Buff Point, a suburb on the NSW Central Coast, at around 8pm to reports of an assault.
An argument broke out between him and a 42-year-old man, and the old man was allegedly stabbed. Police said the two men knew each other.
Paramedics attempted to treat the 42-year-old but he could not be saved.
The 20-year-old was arrested nearby and taken to Gosford Police Station, where police charged him with murder.
The suspect, who spent the night behind bars, will appear in court on Tuesday.
