Aus’ last Kokoda veteran Reginald James Chard dies aged 102

Reginald James Chard OAM, Australia’s last surviving Kokoda campaign veteran, has died aged 102.

“We offer our deepest condolences to Reg’s family, friends and all the lives he touched throughout his incredible life,” the RSL said in a statement on Friday afternoon.

“Relax, Reg. Your courage lives on every step of the way.”
