At least 15 people were killed and several others injured when a factory and nearby buildings collapsed following a powerful gas explosion in Faisalabad’s Malikpur area on Friday, Dawn reported.

According to Rescue 1122, the incident was caused by a boiler explosion. However, the rescue team later reviewed their findings and confirmed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak.
