It comes after the Duchess and her husband Prince Harry released a lengthy and impassioned statement last weekend denying a series of bombshell claims contained in Tom Bower’s upcoming book.

Mr Bower’s latest proposal, some of which was serialized by The Times magazine, makes a series of accusations against the Sussexes, their relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Invictus Games.

Following the publication of the serialized chapters of the new book, a spokesman for the Sussexes issued a statement saying: “Mr Bower’s comment has already crossed the line into criticism and into obsession.
