‘No difference between Kauravas and Congress members’: M.P. CM on women’s reservation row

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday compared the Congress party to the Kauravas in the Mahabharata over the defeat of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill in the Lok Sabha, which sought to make delimitation a prerequisite for implementing women’s reservation.

Addressing a government event at Nariavali in Sagar district, Mr. Yadav slammed the Opposition party, claiming that it was “obstructing” Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans to empower women.
