Rajasthan schools closed in 11 district tomorrow as IMD issues Red alert for heavy rainfall; check list here

Heavy rains caused water raids in various parts of Rajasthan and brought school closing and red warnings in more than one region.

In Rajasthan, heavy rain causes flooding

According to Jaipur Meteorological Center officials, Rajasthan has severe heavy rains in the last 24 hours and isolated places are extremely heavy rain. On Monday, the air department confirmed that several cities in the state were affected. Due to the ongoing downpour, schools in 11 districts were closed as a security measure on Monday and Tuesday. In the Bhilwara’s Bijolia region, it created more than 15 hours of continuous rainfall flood -like situation. A video clip showing a boat rowing of 25 people on a flooded road has become viral. The rescue teams from the Ministry of Defense work actively in several areas affected to help the inhabitants. Authorities reported that the water levels on the Eru River Bridge increased up to 5 feet and caused concern. Due to the high -volume rain, 12 doors were opened on Monday to release excess water. Similarly, the six gates of the Rana Pratap Sagar Dam, Chittorgarh in Chittorgarh, opened Sunday night. Considering the ongoing situation, the air department issued warnings:
