‘Red line’ warning against Israel’s Gaza takeover plan

8 August 2025 15:16 | News

Israel’s plan to seize Gaza’s control should be a “red line için for the Albanian government, as opponents call for sanctions in the light of decisions.

On one night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his nation aims to seize the military control of the entire Gaza in the latest development of the Bloody War in Strip, which began almost two years ago.

“We intend, Net Netanyahu said to Fox News when he asked if Israel would take over the entire region.

Israel said it would finally deliver the region to the Arab forces to rule.

“We don’t want to protect this, Net Netanyahu said.

“We want to have a security circle. We don’t want to manage it. We don’t want to be there as a management body.”

Early on Friday, Israel’s security cabinet approved the plan to take over Gaza City, and Netanyahu’s office later confirmed.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong said Israel should not proceed with the plan.

“Australia calls for Israel not to go down this road, which will only worsen human disasters in Gaza,” he said.

“Permanent forcibly displacement is a violation of international law.”

The Green Senator David Shoebridge called on the government to impose sanctions on Israel, similar to those directed to Russia after the occupation of Ukraine in 2022.

“After two years of inertia, this must be a red line for the Albanian government,” he said.

“Now time for an instant and strong action… End two -way weapons trade and sanction key decision makers, including the security cabin.”

However, the Australian Jewish Jewish partner Alex Ryvchin said that Netanyahu’s proposal would mean the defeat of the determined terrorist organization Hamas, whose actions started to conflict.

“As far as I understand, the suggestion is to conquer Gaza, to eliminate the last signs of Hamas fortresses, to eliminate the infrastructure, to save the hostages and then deliver the control of the lane to an international power of Arab countries as the transition to the Palestinian self-observation.”

“Palestinians have to determine their own future, but Hamas needs to be removed from power.”

Nasser Mashni, President of the Australian Palestinian Defense Network, said that the Albanian government should go beyond “unbearable diplomacy actions” to prevent the seizure of Gaza.

“He cannot make any claim that Israel is doing anything other than permanently erasing Gaza to occupy and annexation,” he said.

“Gaza has been occupied by Israel for decades, besieged and bombed.

“What is happening now is the final stage of ethnic cleaning and the world provides it.”

The Israeli government said that in October 2023, the country attacked the south, killed approximately 1200 people and wanted a total victory in the battle with Hamas, who took 251 hostages.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israel’s retaliation attacks killed more than 61,000 Palestinians.

Approximately 200 people, almost half of the children reportedly died of starvation.

The bad human situation directed the plans to recognize Palestine at the United Nations meeting in September and the plans waiting for the remaining hostages at the United Nations meeting in September.

Australian government ministers said the country’s recognition of the Palestinian state of Palestinian state was a matter of “not when it is, not”.
