Beauty expert delivers telling verdict on Meghan Markle’s makeup | Royal | News

Meghan Markle recently gave a sneak peek at her makeup look while in New York, and now a beauty expert has come up with a striking verdict on the matter. The Duchess of Sussex spent a few days in New York last week, attending various engagements and meetings with her famous friends.

Harry and Meghan were also honored as humanitarian of the year at Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival. Following the trip, Meghan shared a new video on her Instagram account featuring moments from their time in the Big Apple.

In this video, Meghan showed off the expensive outfit and shoes she wore on the luxury trip, but also shared a clip of herself applying make-up while sitting at the dressing table in the Sussex hotel room.

Now, The Telegraph’s beauty editorSonia Haria has conducted her own “forensic analysis” of the Duchess’s make-up choice.

Ms. Haria identified several products in Meghan’s blurry photo and said she preferred NoMakeupMakeup, founded by her friend Victoria Jackson, for foundation.

He also noticed that the Duchess had a mini version of Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, which she claimed was award-winning “for a good reason”.

“It sets all kinds of make-up for 16 hours and is also water resistant. Although there are many setting sprays on the market, this one is especially good for leaving a dewy look on the skin,” the beautician said.

Ms. Haria later said that Meghan was most likely wearing the No Makeup No Makeup Cream Classic Lipstick in Pink 02, “a light mauve with a pinkish undertone,” while the photo featured another product from the brand, most likely the Blush and Lip Color in Peach.

Next she spotted Tom Ford’s Shade & Illuminate Contour Duo and Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder.

As brushes, she preferred Westman Atelier Baby Blender Brush and Real Techniques Tapered Cheek Make-up Brush. He also identified some vessels belonging to Paris Berlin.

The beauty expert then gave her verdict on Meghan Markle’s beauty products: “This is definitely an edit of products that won’t appeal to everyone and is actually not at the price point that many are looking for.”

“But there are some items that are likely makeup artist inspired and will stand the test of time.”
