Kelly Brook reveals the bizarre treatment she is giving her bikinis ahead of the I’m A Celeb jungle shower

As a young and dashing model in the nineties, she graced the covers of men’s magazines, then embarked on a lucrative career as a presenter and left her modeling days behind.

But three decades later, Kelly Brook is back as the signature ‘pin-up’ of this year’s I’m a Celebrity and she’s taking the role very seriously, even getting her bikini screen tested.

The former Britain’s Got Talent presenter, 45, told the Mail on Sunday: ‘I’ve got loads of different brands. I have a bunch of different bikinis with me, so we haven’t chosen what to wear in the forest yet.

‘They’ve all gone to the wardrobe to be tested on camera, so they’ll be making the decision for me.’

She has made a name for herself in the tabloids as a ‘Page Three’ model but Ms Brook has issued a warning to ITV viewers ahead of tonight’s launch show: ‘I’m not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore.

‘You know, your life changes and your body changes and hopefully people will accept me and the way I look now and not compare me to how I used to look.’

The Kent-born beauty, who started her first modeling job at the age of 16, will turn 46 in Jungle.

When asked how he felt about it, he said: ‘I feel really confident. I feel really strong. I feel like my body is in good shape. I feel great. So yes, I am 46 years old and embracing my curves. ‘I embrace my body.’

Kelly plans to follow in the footsteps of fellow presenter Myleene Klass, who had tongues wagging after wearing a beautiful white bikini to the Jungle shower during her stint on the show in 2006.

The moment is etched in I’m A Celebrity history and it’s believed the move helped Myleene, 47, win second place on the show, with many celebrities trying to replicate the effect.

Revealing that he spoke to Mylene ahead of the Jungle mission, the radio presenter said: ‘Myleene actually spoke to me about the shower. When she arrived she actually said she had to run and buy a bikini. So I made sure to pack lots of swimsuits so we had lots of options.

‘But that white bikini she wore, that iconic scene in the shower looking incredible, it wasn’t pre-planned.

‘I think it would be very difficult to recreate something like this; It was destiny that was meant to be and this was his moment.’

Ms Brook, who is married to fellow model Jeremy Pairisi, will join the likes of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, social media star AngryGinge, Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack and rapper Aitch Down Under.

When she left her husband of three years for about four weeks, she said: ‘I’m actually more worried about him being home alone than going into the woods because I was making all the dog food before I left.

‘But honestly I’m not too sure what Jeremy will eat.’
