To talk HinduDharmender, an eyewitness and a resident of Greater Noida, said that while he was shopping on the opposite pavement, he heard a loud noise and saw vehicles on fire. “There was a lot of traffic and the slow-moving vehicle where the explosion occurred was engulfed in flames, which caused many commercial taxis in the area to catch fire,” he said.
Mr. Dharmender said that at that moment, there were only two police officers at the Red Fort police station who rushed to save people. “We brought out almost seven taxi drivers and found that the car where the explosion occurred had a Haryana registration plate,” he said. Neighborhood worker Muhsin Ali, who saw the explosion, said that he took out at least three burnt bodies and put them on an electric rickshaw. “E-rickshaws were blown up, people’s body parts were scattered around during the explosion, and almost no one near the vehicle could be saved,” Ali Bey said.
