Former British Prime Minister was involved in threesome with Ghislaine Maxwell, royal historian Andrew Lownie claims in explosive Epstein podcast

A former British Prime Minister engaged in a threesome with convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, royal historian Andrew Lownie has said. It was claimed in a new Daily Mail Deep Dive podcast.

Lownie joins Sunday Times bestselling author Sarah Vine to understand the latest release from the US Department of Justice’s Epstein files. Last week, the Justice Department released its largest tranche ever of more than 3 million documents, images and videos related to its investigation of pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The historian wrote the unauthorized biography titled The Rise and Fall of the House of York, which chronicles Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s spectacular fall from grace.

Lownie, one of the first voices to warn about Andrew’s disturbing behavior and dangerous networks of contacts, has become a controversial authority on the British establishment’s links to Epstein.

In addition to her claim that Andrew and Epstein tried to pay an exotic dancer to have sex with them at the same time in 2006, Lownie also claimed that the disgraced former prince was not the only member of British society to have sexual relations with Epstein and Maxwell.

Lownie said: ‘I hear a lot of talk about threesomes; This includes the threesome between Ghislaine and the British Prime Minister.’

‘A new Prime Minister?’ he asked.

‘A former Prime Minister but not Winston Churchill,’ the author joked.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Lownie claimed there was still a lot the public didn’t know about Andrew’s activities with Epstein.

He claimed elements within Buckingham Palace and the government ‘aided and abetted’ the former Duke of York and covered up his behaviour.

Andrew has consistently denied all allegations of sexual harassment. In 2022, he settled a civil lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre without admitting liability, but expressed regret over his relationship with Epstein.

“We have more on Andrew,” Lownie said.

‘I think we will also find that he was aided and abetted much more than we thought. This will open and other names will enter the frame.

‘That’s why I think the King should speak. Andrew was supported and protected by many people around him for a long time; most of them were in official positions.

‘Two things need to happen: We need to have a Parliamentary inquiry into Andrew’s time as Trade Ambassador.

Lownie also claimed that Jeffrey Epstein was a Russian intelligence operative recruited by the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

‘Secondly, they need to release all files from Andrew’s time as Trade Ambassador. By law they are required to be in the National Archives. This will help clear the stables and restore trust.

Specifically on Epstein, Lownie claimed the financier was a Russian intelligence operative recruited by the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

He said he, Epstein and others were recruited to run honeytrap operations in Britain and the United States to gain influence over influential people.

Lownie explained: ‘In the 1930s the Russians infiltrated the establishment through Oxford and Cambridge. They then realized they could do this through the royal family.

‘They realized there were greedy royals who would get into bed with people and give them access and credibility.

‘There is material seized by the FBI that has never been released; Videos featuring Andrew. Some of these were given to Putin. We know Andrew was involved in honey traps in Russia, Central Asia, everywhere.

‘But certainly I was given evidence that Epstein was a Russian source and was running these honey trap operations. He traded information and blackmail.’
