Sudan landslide kills at least 1,000 people, rebel group says
ReutersAccording to the Water Liberation Movement/Army, a landslide killed at least 1,000 people in the remote Marra Mountains in Western Sudan.
In a statement, the group triggered landslides, who left only one survivor and “levels”, who left only one survivor and “levels of the village of Tarasin.
The movement resorted to humanitarian aid from the United Nations and other regional and international organizations.
Many calm from the province of North Darfur took refuge in the Marra Mountains region after the war between the Sudan army and the Paramiliter Fast Support Forces (RSF).
