Focus, Confidence Key to Class X Success: NTR Collector

Vijayawada: With Class X general exams scheduled to begin on March 16, NTR district Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha urged students to overcome lethargy and prepare with courage and confidence to achieve powerful results.
The Collector made these remarks during a surprise inspection at Zilla Parishad High School at Guntupalli in Ibrahimpatnam mandal, where he reviewed academic preparation ahead of exams. He was accompanied by District Education Officer L. Chandra Kala, principal M. Sandhya Rani and teaching and non-teaching staff.
Interacting with Class X students, Lakshmisha assessed their understanding by asking questions in Maths, Science and Social Studies. Expressing his satisfaction with the answers given, he advised students to learn with a holistic approach and understand the subjects thoroughly, rather than just studying for the exams.
He gave examples of former public school students who achieved success through constant curiosity and dedication, encouraging current students to take inspiration from them. He said showing interest in learning, even in difficult subjects, would help students perform well.
Addressing the teachers, the collector emphasized the need for focused efforts to ensure improvement in SSC results. Stating that teachers should work with a sense of responsibility to ensure success of every student, he pointed out that the Class X examination plays a very important role in shaping the academic future of the student.
He instructed teachers to guide students on examination hall procedures and answer writing techniques and advised against taking leave during the critical pre-exam period. While emphasizing the importance of Class X results, he asked teachers to pay attention to students of other classes as well.
The Collector set a target of 100 per cent results and urged the teaching staff to work towards making NTR district a leading performer in the state in the upcoming Class X examinations.
