WTA Finals: Why did Elena Rybakina refuse photo with WTA CEO Portia Archer?

Rybakina had been working with Vukov since he was a teenager before briefly ending the partnership before last year’s US Open.
But when he decided in January that he wanted Vukov to rejoin his team, his temporary suspension meant he was denied accreditation at the Australian Open.
Speaking in February, Rybakina said she remained in contact with Vukov and that Vukov still helped her “in many matters on and off the field.”
Asked on Sunday whether she had held settlement talks with the WTA following Vukov’s return, Rybakina told AFP: “I think we all do our jobs and we had the opportunity to talk but in the end it never happened.
“So we’re all doing our jobs and I think we’ll keep it that way.”
However, Rybakina said that she preferred to keep the reason for not participating in the ceremony photo with Archer between them.
The WTA did not want to comment on the matter when contacted by BBC Sport.
BBC Sport also approached Rybakina for comment.
