Huge blaze erupts with major Essex road closed | UK | News

Firefighters today (Monday) Essex’te running to address a big fire after people were evacuated from their homes. While the crew fights the flames near the Sutton road in Rochford, near Southend, thick black smoke can be seen in the area. The road was closed in both directions with traffic development in the region.
Local media, around 11.30 this morning, Southend Garden Center near Scott’s large fire exploded and covered the area of black smoke was seen. In a statement on social media, Essex County Fire Brigade and Rescue Service said: “Our crews are currently at a fire neighborhood in an electric transformer center next to a garden center in Southend. The nearby residents and the garden center were released safely.
“Sutton Road is closed between Shopland Road and the intersection near the industrial zone.”
