RRB city intimation slip: RRB Group D city intimation slips 2025 released: check exam dates and timings

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started publishing Group D City Inspiration Slips 2025 from November 18 on the official website rrbcdg.gov.in as well as regional RRB portals. The slips provide candidates with detailed information about exam cities, shift times and scheduled exam date ahead of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for Group D posts.

RRB Group D CBT Exam 2025 is scheduled to be held in three shifts every day between 27 November 2025 and 16 January 2026. City identification slips provide candidates with information about the allocated exam city so they can plan their travel arrangements in advance. Exam entry cards will be published on 23 November 2025.

Note: Exam city slips are published only for candidates who are scheduled to take the exam on November 27, 2025. Candidates who cannot see city details should check the page daily for updates.

How to download RRB Group D 2025 exam city slip

Candidates need the following login information to download the city introduction slip:

• Username/Registration Number
• Password/Date of Birth

Download steps:

1. Visit the official website rrbcdg.gov.in.
2. On the home page, click on the “CEN 08/2024 (RRB Group D)” link that appears in red in the top bar.
3. Select “CEN 08/2024 (RRB Group D) – Exam City Promotion Slip”.
4. Enter your registration number/username and password/date of birth, then the captcha code.
5. Click “Log In” to view the city introduction slip.
6. Download and save the voucher for future reference.

RRB Group D 2025 exam timings

The exam will be conducted in three shifts every day. Reporting, gate closing and exam timings are as follows:

• Shift 1: Reporting at 7:30am, Door closes at 8:30am, Examination from 9:00am to 10:30am
• Shift 2: Reporting 11:15, Door closes at 12:15, Exam 12:45 – 14:15
• Shift 3: Reporting 15:00, Door closes 16:00, Exam 16:30 – 18:00

App statistics and posts

This year, 10,822,423 candidates applied for 32,438 Level 1 positions under CEN 08/2024. Positions include Pointsman, Assistant, Track Maintainer, Loco Shed Assistant, Operations Assistant and TL & AC Assistant. Provincial promotion slips are only given to candidates whose exam date is 27 November 2025. Candidates who cannot view their information immediately are encouraged to check the website daily.
