PA MediaSir Keir Starmer said Israel’s plans to take over the Gaza City were “wrong” and “only more blood will be shed”.
The Prime Minister urged the Israeli government to immediately reconsidered the decision of “Further increasing the attack in Gaza” after Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet plans with a majority vote overnight.
Netanyahu had previously said he wanted to seize the control of the entire Gaza Strip, but the approved plan focuses on Gaza City, the largest city in the settlement.
The movement also caused warnings from hostages, which were afraid of the army leadership and the 20 prisoners who were believed to be still alive in Gaza.
In a statement, Sir Keir said: “This action will do nothing to end this conflict or to help the hostages to release.
“Every day, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is taken by Hamas and worsen hostages and is kept in inhuman conditions.
“A ceasefire we need, an increase in humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages of Hamas and a solution that is negotiated. Hamas cannot play any roles in the future of Gaza and should not leave at the same time.”
“Our message is clear: A diplomatic solution is possible, but both sides should move away from the way of destruction.”
Liberal Democratic leader Sir Ed Davey said that plans were “completely disgusting” and “increasingly clear [Netanyahu’s] Target is ethnic cleansing “.
“This plan endangers the lives of these hostages, which are held only by Hamas, only their homes and communities will create more destruction about the lives of millions of Gazans, who have already been destroyed.” He said.
“Instead of sitting in their hands and making strong expressions, the United Kingdom government needs to take a decisive action.
“Keir Starmer should stop the export of all England’s arms to Israel – today – and the sanction netanyahu and cabinet.”
Foreign Minister David Lammy is expected to meet US Vice President JD Vance on the official country residence of Chevening House in Kent.
Vance and his family are in the UK for a private family holiday.
However, the couple is expected to hold a dual meeting and the White House says they will discuss “various issues related to the US-UK relationship”.
Last week, England announced in September that it will recognize a Palestinian state Israel, including a ceasefire and to commit a two -state solution, “unless you take important steps to end the terrible situation in Gaza”.
The movement was strongly criticized by Israel, who said, “Rewarding Hamas’s terrible terrorism.”
It also contradicts the US, who claims that Britain will reward Hamas, such as Israel.
The United Nations warned that a full military transfer will face the risk of “disaster results” in Gaza for Palestinian civilians and Israeli hostages.
The Israeli army is currently controlling three -quarters of Gaza, and almost all of 2.1 million citizens are in the quarter of the region where the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) does not control.
In a statement published on Friday morning, Netanyahu’s office detailed a five -point plan to “defeat Hamas” and “concluding war”.
“IDF will be preparing to seize the control of Gaza City while providing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population outside the war zones.” He said.
The plan lists five targets: to disarm Hamas, to return all hostages, to destroy the Gaza Strip, to seize the security control of the region, and to establish “an alternative civilian administration with neither HAMAS nor Palestinian authority”.
