Neighbours star Holly Valance snapped lounging on a steam train with hard-Right thug Tommy Robinson… as friends of the pop star say she has gone down a ‘rabbit hole’

She’s the glamorous former Neighbors actress and pop star who married one of Britain’s biggest property tycoons and was, until recently, at the heart of a wealthy social circle with influence on both sides of the Atlantic.

Holly Valance, 42, and her billionaire husband Nick Candy, 52, were regular fixtures at star-studded events such as Princess Eugenie’s wedding and the glitzy election fundraiser Valance herself hosted for Donald Trump in London last year.

But since news broke in June this year that she had split from Reform UK treasurer Mr Candy, she has struck up a very different friendship. As our exclusive photos show, Ms. Valance has been spending more and more time with far-right thug Tommy Robinson.

Last month, Ms Robinson, a mother of two, took a luxury steam train ride with former actor and politician Laurence Fox and Mr Fox’s wife Elizabeth, who frequently appears on a podcast peddling conspiracy theories.

A photo posted online by Mr. Fox, leader of the Recovery Party, showed Ms. Valance and Ms. Fox sprawled on a sofa in one of the train’s carriages. A laughing Robinson lay nearby. Mr Fox’s caption read: ‘It’s a little early for this…’

A video on social media showed the group having breakfast as the train, called The President’s Set and owned by City financier and major Reclaim donor Jeremy Hosking, left London.

As Ms Valance sipped a cup of tea, Mr Robinson said with a grin: ‘Good morning everyone. How are we doing?’

Ms Valance also took a selfie during the trip with Robinson and the Foxes posing in the background.

Last night Ms Valance’s friends told The Mail on Sunday they were worried she and Robinson were getting close. They are said to be particularly disturbed by the fact that their two daughters, aged 12 and 8, spend time in Robinson’s orbit.

Robinson, 43, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has convictions for assault, mortgage fraud, using a false passport and numerous contempt of court offences.

A friend of the former singer said: ‘There are concerns about Holly and her two daughters.’ ‘A lot of his friends are worried. The question is: are they [Ms Valance and Robinson] They are in a romantic relationship. Even if they don’t have a romantic relationship, it’s a fact that all these beliefs are against him.’

Ms Valance, the Australian-British star who plays Felicity ‘Flick’ Scully in Neighbours, was first photographed with Robinson at the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally in London in September.

He was photographed wearing a ‘MEGA’ (Make England Great Again) hat and later praised the march, adding: ‘I’m so proud and delighted of Tommy; This is his salvation. Finally. It will be a case study in how the man who shouted from the rooftops that white British girls were being raped was framed as the “bad guy”.

‘How weak and immoral we have become. Our silence is immoral. [At the march] ‘The lions appeared.’

Ms Valance, whose £3million wedding to Mr Candy in California in September 2012 featured a performance by Katy Perry, has not spoken publicly about her political views for years.

However, his friends claim that he has recently ‘fallen’ [political] rabbit hole’.

‘He went too far with this,’ a source said. ‘It was the Covid stuff and the Republican stuff in America – Maga [Make America Great Again] movement. It was a series of things. He’s quite conspiracy theorist driven.’

Mr Fox, who first rose to fame with his role in ITV drama Lewis, has since rebranded himself as a right-wing commentator and politician who has run three unsuccessful election campaigns.

His wife, Elizabeth, described herself on Instagram as a model, stuntman and stuntman who was born in America but now lives in the UK. He has appeared multiple times on Elite Thinking Club, a podcast that bills itself as ‘a program dedicated to critical thinking’ but airs conspiracy theories, including the idea that Princess Diana was murdered on the orders of the Queen.

In a chapter on the theory of evolution, when asked if humans descended from apes, he replied: ‘I think that’s what we’ve been led to believe, and that’s what we should believe, but… I think we’re descended from another race.’

In June, in response to allegations that he was a conspiracy theorist, he wrote to X: ‘Having my own opinion is not a fault, it is a right. ‘Not everyone thinks the same way, and neither do we.’

Sir Mark Rowley, now the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, said in 2018 that Robinson contributed to the radicalization of Darren Osborne, who killed one man and injured scores of others near a mosque in Finsbury Park.

Ms. Valance has been contacted for comment.
