A healthcare giant in the UK has confirmed the closing date of one of its stores.
Holland and Barrett, which now has 1,600 stores around the world, has announced it will close one of its Kent branches next month. The store, located in Sheerness High Street, will cease trading on Wednesday, May 6. Five people currently work in the branch.
A spokesperson for Holland & Barrett said: “We are committed to relocating our store staff where possible and supporting them throughout the process.
“In the meantime, our store is open as usual, offering our customers our range of science-backed products and services, as well as expert advice.”
The closure comes after the healthcare giant announced it would invest £70 million to transform its stores, including the opening and refurbishment of more than 200 locations across the country. City Online.
The retailer is also scheduled to close another store earlier.
Holland and Barrett is closing its store on Broad Street in Cambridge. The store remains “open as usual” until it closes for the final time on April 22.
