Haleiwa Harbor sees dramatic action, water drops 10 to 15 ft
Honolulu (KHON2) – Haleiwa port had flood effects following the tsunami on Tuesday. The harbor saw a dramatic action by falling 10 to 15 feet.
The dramatic video showed that Haleiwa Harbor car park was around 20.00 and then withdrawn quickly.

Many said they ran to the harbor after hearing the magnitude of the earthquake.
Jacob Vandervelde, who worked in Haleiwa Harbor, said, “This place was chaotic because everyone had to withdraw their boats and traffic, many people lived on the other side and they were trying to get out of the beach because they all closed the beaches.”
GridLocked traffic led to uncertainty whether people have taken their boats to a higher place with them.
