Stocks rise amid global bond sell-off while gold hits fresh highs

Stocks in Asia fell by 0.9% per day in Japan, while Nikkei (^n225) fell by 0.6% in Hong Kong in Japan.
The returns to Japan’s longer maturity JGBs continued to be at the highest levels of the decade after the global sales in the country’s bonds and political uncertainty. The return on 20 -year -old government bonds increased by 2,667%, 3.1BPS increased, a level seen in 1999, and the 30 -year -olds are 4.1bps higher since the release of 1999.
