Gold Coast influencer walks away after million-dollar Ferrari split in two
Gold Coast property investor and influencer Sam Gordon survived a serious crash despite his million-dollar “dream” car being split in half.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Rio Vista Boulevard in Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast at around 9.15am on Saturday morning after the Ferrari SF90 Spider, believed to belong to Mr Gordon, crashed into a tree.
Queensland Police Services confirmed the driver and sole occupant, a man in his 30s, managed to escape the crash and were assessed for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene.
Mr. Gordon, who claimed that he was the driver on social media, reassured his followers with a post on his social media account on Saturday afternoon.
“I want everyone to know that I’m totally fine, I’m so sweet,” she said in a video.
“Big shout out to Ferrari for building a crazy car that protects the driver first in a crash.”
Mr Gordon also thanked fans for their interest.

“I really, really appreciate it.”
Mr Gordon has more than 25,000 followers on Instagram, calls himself “Australia’s most successful property investors” and has a property portfolio so lucrative that he was able to quit his job at just 28, according to the social media star.

The successful influencer now runs a real estate investment school and podcast, while sharing advice for inspiring investors by posting on social media.
Mr. Gordon is also known for his love of luxury sports cars, as he owns multiple Lamborghini and Ferrari models.
He bought the SF90 Spider, which turned out to be a crash car, in May 2025, claiming it was a “dream”.
“Dream. Car. Taken,” he wrote in a post accompanying the SF90’s video.
“Two dream goals accomplished in one week. Sometimes life is crazy.”
Prices for the SF90 Spider in Australia range from around $960,000 to $1.7 million.
Queensland Police Service reported that investigations into the accident are continuing.
