Budgam bypoll election: 9.36% turnout recorded till 9 a.m.

Over 9% votes were recorded in the first two hours of voting for the bye elections held in Budgam Assembly constituency in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, officials said.

Voting started at 7 am as night temperatures in the valley dropped below zero in most places. Till 9 am, Budgam recorded a polling percentage of 9.36%, they said.

In last year’s Assembly elections, Budgam’s total poll percentage was 51.13%.
