Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut announced that he will take two months leave from public life due to ‘medical reasons’. According to the information obtained, he was taken to the hospital. He said he would return in the new year.

‘You have all always believed in me and loved me, but now suddenly there has been a serious deterioration in my health. The treatment is ongoing and I will be out of this situation soon. In accordance with medical advice, I am restricted from going out and mixing with crowds. There is no other way. I am sure that I will recover and come to meet you in the new year. May your love and blessings remain the same,’ Raut said in a note on X.

Mystery about his health

This note comes as Sanjay Raut is scheduled to join the Opposition parties’ protest against the Election Commission on November 1. According to reports, Raut had recently suffered from stress-related illness. It was recommended to rest after angiography. He had previously undergone two angioplasty in 2019 and 2020.

The break in ‘health’ came as a big shock for Uddhav Thackeray, who is known to be a harsh critic of the BJP and NDA and is a key spokesperson of the Shiv-Sena (UBT). He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Saamana, the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena. He is also known for giving daily media briefings.

Prime Minister Modi wished a speedy recovery in his message to X.Praying that you will recover and regain your health as soon as possible, sanjay raut Ji.’
