speaking on Daily Expresso podcast This week Mr Dolan said: “It shows how deluded Prince Harry is if Charles thinks he is going to cut short a hugely important global tour of the US.”
Mr Dolan also claimed Harry did not want the King to visit Montecito to see his grandchildren, but instead sought approval for himself.
The broadcaster said: “I think he (Harry) is weaponizing kids. Charles won’t be bullied like that.”
Explaining further, Mr Dolan added: “What Harry wants is Charles’ approval, he wants Charles to accept him and sprinkle some of that royal stardust on him.”
He continued: “It’s an act of sheer desperation on Harry’s part to think that Charles will go from a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it half-hour chat at Clarence House to a full-fledged state visit to the Montecito campus…it’s not going to happen.”
King Charles has not commented publicly on the matter, but the monarch is unlikely to make such a visit.
Instead, the King is more likely to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet if Harry brings them to the UK; This is something he hasn’t done since 2022.
