AIADMK releases third list of candidates for Chennai constituencies

AIADMK on Sunday released its third candidate list for the April 23 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and filed its candidates in Chennai City constituencies.

Party General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has selected senior leader Aadhi Rajaram to contest from Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency, while former ministers B Valarmathi and S Gokula Indira will seek election hopefuls from Thousand Lights and Anna Nagar constituencies respectively.

There are 17 candidates in the third list and the party has already announced 150 candidates in two phases.
AIADMK has already announced that it will contest from 169 constituencies.

Single-phase elections to the 234-seat Tamil Nadu Assembly will be held on April 23.
