Sixth edition of Kochi-Muziris Biennale titled ‘For the Time Being’, to get under way on December 12

The sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennial (KMB) organized by Kochi Biennial Foundation (KBF) will be ‘for now’.
Curated by the artist Nikhil Chopra, which is a Goa -based artist organization, Biennial will last 110 days from 12 December 2025 to March 31, 2026.

KBF also announced the curator frame for KMB ’25. In addition to the international exhibition, Biennial will have various talks, performances, workshops and film screenings on various sites in Kochi. Kilit program sectors include students’ biennial, invitations, art of children, residence program and collateral.
Nikhil Chopra’s curator note, the process of the sixth edition of the KMB as methodology and ‘friendship economies’ will accept the exhibition as a very scaffold.
The sixth edition of a single, central exhibition event is expected to be a living ecosystem that a released here is a living ecosystem where each element shares space, time and resources and grows in dialogue with each other ”.
KBF President Venu said that during the past editions of the biennial, he has taken his works of art from India and abroad, both famous and developing talents.
“Organizing such an event needs meticulous planning and strategies. We have made significant organizational changes at the Kochi Biennial Foundation and we are sure that we will achieve a great success of the sixth edition of the biennial. It will offer a dynamic experience for both the people and experts.”
Kochi-Muziris Biennial President Bose Krishnamachari, Nikhil Chopra’nın durable exhibitions and performance emphasizing the emphasis will be the most important feature of the sixth edition, he said. “Visitors will be introduced to an immersive atmosphere with magnificent art works and site -sensitive installations. The event will offer plenty of opportunities to interact with artists and other art enthusiasts and to witness the layer cultural life of global and local movements at once,” he said.
