CM Siddaramaiah Sets 1-Month Deadline to Repair Bengaluru Roads

Bengaluru: Karnataka Prime Minister Siddaramaiah, civilian agency officers to repair all roads in the city has set a monthly deadline.

He warned that if the deadline is not met, the chief engineers will be held responsible.

After a meeting with the authorities of the Deputy DK Shivakumar and the Great Bengaluru Authority (GBA), Siddaramaiah said that on Saturday, RS 750 Crore was allocated to repair all roads.

According to him, approximately 6,000 pits were filled and 8,000 were not corrected.

CM also warned the authorities not to compromise on the quality of the work.

“I will have two meetings in the next month. If any shortcomings are found, I will move tightly.” He said.
