Birmingham Airport latest: Runway shut and flights halted after plane’s emergency landing
All flights are now suspended from Birmingham Airport due to the “aircraft incident”.
It is believed that the incident contains a light airplane that has to make an emergency landing after deploying landing equipment. The condition of the pilot and any passenger is not yet known, but one person has been subjected to mild injury.
Pictures on social media show a small propeller plane on the runway and participate in emergency services.
Birmingham Airport said: “After an airplane incident, the track was temporarily closed.
“We apologize for the discomfort that this will cause.
“We will already inform the passengers at the airport, and today they are advised to check the status of their flights before they come to the airport because they are traveling later.
“We will continue to make updates when we can.”
The last flight to touch before closing was the Ryanair flight from Perpignan, who descended at 1.52. Two minutes later, an easy flight got up to the Tenerife.
The deviations of flights from alternative airports immediately started.
Three people were treated by medical officers at the scene and discharged
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMA) said that three people were treated at an emergency landing scene at Birmingham Airport.
WMAS, said in a statement, “Birmingham Airport about a light plane about 1.45 hours. Dangerous area intervention team (HART) medical officials and three medical officers were sent to the scene,” he said.
“We found three patients from the plane, all of which were evaluated at the scene and discharged at the scene.”

Manchester: Jet2 from Lanzarote, Malaga and Faro, Ryanan from Bucharest, Turkish Airlines from Istanbul, Tui from Kos.
Stansted: Malaga and Palma’dan Ryanir, Jet2 from SKIATHOS.LUTON: Jet2, Corfu and Easyjet from Kefalonia.
In addition, when a Aer Lingus regional aircraft from Belfast City returned to the starting point, it was about half of the Irish Sea.

A person injured after the plane will land an emergency
West Midlands police said that a small plane was subjected to slightly injuries after an emergency landing on Birmingham Airport.

It is listed as a Woodgate Aviation and seems to have been condemned to its main base George Best Belfast City.
