French PM Sebastien Lecornu Steps Down From Post Just Weeks Into Office | World News

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu resigned on Monday and said it was a renewed political crisis in the country. Only weeks after the departure appointment comes.
According to Euro News, President Emmanuel Macron adopted Lecornu’s resignation on Monday morning only hours after the Prime Minister’s new government’s announcement of his new government’s names.
Following the announcement of the cabinet, Lecornu encountered criticisms of both his own party and the opposition. Conservative Republicans said they did not give a strong approval on the return of former Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire, who is now appointed as the Minister of Defense.

On Sunday, Lecornu announced the series of cabinets, who saw Bruno Le Maire, who served as the Minister of Economy from 2017 to 2024. Roland Lescure was called the new Minister of Economy, while Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot retained his position. According to the Xinhua News Agency, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau and Justice Minister Gerald Darmanin also continued in their roles such as Culture Minister Rachida Dati.
