Michael Eisenberg, one of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s chief advisors, said that Israel and the newly created Peace Board will “take action” against Hamas if it does not comply with the agreed peace conditions.
Eisenberg made the comments during an interview with Fox News’ Trey Yingst on Sunday. He said Hamas was not currently complying with a broader peace agreement and had refused to give up its weapons to “demilitarize” Gaza.
“I think all options are on the table due to Hamas not complying with the 20-point plan and not turning over their weapons as they should have, so we’ll have to wait and see. But like I said, this is incredibly well thought out. Give a lot of credit to President Trump and credit to his team. They literally thought through every phase of this from beginning to end,” Eisenberg said.
“By the way, as President Trump said, there is an easy way and a hard way. Everyone chooses the easy way, and that is Hamas. With the help of mediators, the weapons are delivered, but if they do not do this, there is also a hard way.”

Eisenberg also said that Iran should eventually give up its control over Gaza within the scope of the 20-point plan agreed upon by the United States, Israel and Hamas.
“Hamas is still there. But the 20-point plan says they can’t be there. They can’t be part of the government. They can’t carry weapons. To have any role in Gaza, they have to be Swedish. So I suggest they do it as soon as possible. And I think progress is slow. You can’t solve a 30-year-old problem in a microwave. It doesn’t work. Sociologists,” he said.
Eisenberg’s comments come amid multiple peace negotiations in the Middle East. Israel is working on a deal with Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the United States is in talks with Iran.
WHAT ISRAEL WANTS FROM THE IRAN PEACE AGREEMENT: NO ENRICHMENT, MISSILE LIMITATIONS AND SEVERE SANCTIONS
Netanyahu said last week that Israel and the United States remained in “full coordination” as negotiations continued.
Speaking at the opening of the security cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said, “We share common goals, and the most important goal is the removal of enriched material, all enriched material, from Iran and the elimination of Iran’s enrichment capabilities.” he said.
Regarding the nuclear issue, former Israeli National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror said that Israel’s position remains uncompromising.

“Weaponized uranium must leave Iran,” Amidror said. “The Iranians should not be allowed to enrich uranium.”
Along with the nuclear issue, Israeli analysts say Iran’s ballistic missile program has become equally central to Israel’s security concerns.
