‘Bullsh*t’: Hunter MP Dan Repacholi slams racist leaflet targeting Indian migrants

A group of racist leaflets targeting Indian immigrants have been seen circulating in the NSW Hunter Territory, with a federal MP labeling the demonstration as “racist nonsense”.

A leaflet encouraging locals to stay away from Kurri Kurri, a town in the NSW Hunter Territory, has been spotted in letterboxes across the city, according to Hunter Member Dan Repacholi. He himself condemned claims of “immigration” and the need to “preserve culture” as nothing more than “disgusting and racist.”

“Enough of this racist nonsense. Disgusting racist leaflets have been dropped into letterboxes in Kurri,” the MP wrote on Facebook.

“We have already seen local doctors being harassed and targeted with racist comments. Now cowards are spreading this hateful nonsense throughout our community.”

“Let me be absolutely clear. Racism is not tolerated in Kurri, it is not tolerated in Hunter. And it will not be stood up to.”

Mr Repacholi said the Hunter community was “stronger than hate and division” and asked members of the public to contact him if they had received any leaflets.

The leaflets, which appear to have been produced by the far-right “Australia First” party, advocate white nationalist causes such as re-immigration, the idea of a country preserving racial homogeneity by deporting immigrants.
