Traffic diversions for elevated corridor work between Paradise Junction and Dairy Farm Road

Hyderabad Traffic Police announced that a number of roads will be closed and traffic will be diverted to facilitate the construction of an elevated corridor between Paradise Junction and Dairy Farm Road on NH 44. The restrictions will apply from October 30 and are expected to last for approximately nine months.

According to the advisory issued by Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis, the stretch between Rajiv Gandhi Statue junction and Balamrai will remain closed in both directions during the construction period. Passengers have also been advised to avoid the Balamrai-CTO line, where traffic congestion is expected due to ongoing works.

Traffic heading from Balanagar towards Panjagutta or Tank Bund has been advised to follow the route Tadbund – Mastan Café – Diamond Point – Mudfort – NCC – JBS. Similarly, vehicles heading in the same direction from Suchitra can use Safe Express – Bapuji Nagar – Center Point – Diamond Point – Mudfort – NCC – JBS – SBI as an alternative route.

Motorists traveling towards Tadbund via CTO Junction from Tank Bund, Ranigunj, Panjagutta, Rasoolpura or Plaza will be diverted towards Anna Nagar – Balamrai – Tadbund from Rajiv Gandhi Statue junction. Anna Nagar residents traveling towards Panjagutta or Tank Bund have been asked to use side roads (Meeting Point road, Hockey Ground road and law and order police station road) or proceed via Balamrai to reach their destination.

Traffic Police urged passengers to follow real-time updates on official social media pages and contact the traffic helpline number 9010203626 in case of emergency.
