Shocking moment fan storms the court to beg Jannik Sinner for his jacket in major security breach at Netflix’s $13.5m live tennis showdown

A fan bravely approached Jannik Sinner on Wednesday night as Netflix cameras captured a major security breach at the Six Kings Slam.
World No.2 Sinner is among six stars taking part in the Riyadh-based exhibition, which offers a $1.5 million entry fee for each player and a $6 million prize for the winner.
After defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets, a young fan stormed the court and walked towards Sinner without security stopping him at all.
Sinner greeted the fan with a friendly handshake and the pair continued chatting as the fan asked for his Italian Nike jacket.
The two then spoke for a few more seconds before the fan was finally removed by security.
The surreal moment came months after a fan tried to steal Sinner’s purse at the US Open.

He then asked the Italian for the Nike jacket he was wearing at the time.
At that moment, security became more careful, a guard immediately noticed what was happening and moved the fan’s hands away from Sinner’s guard.
‘No, I didn’t. You know, I immediately checked to see if you took anything because, you know, I don’t just have rackets in there. I have my phone with me. I have my wallet with me,” Sinner said after defeating Lorenzo Musetti in the US Open quarterfinals.
‘But I feel security did a great job. There is a lot of security, especially on the field. I believe that especially the big tournaments are doing a great job to make us feel safe. So even with new things like that, they’re doing a great job. No, everything is fine.”
Sinner was selected to play alongside Tsitsipas, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in the second edition of the Six Kings Slam.
“Money is not something we’re trying to hide,” Sinner previously said, via the AP.
‘We know how much is at stake here and I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t motivation.
The fan was later escorted off the field by security guards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

‘Every player here will try to win as many matches as possible. ‘This is like any other exhibition – except there’s a little more motivation here.’
Sinner easily defeated Tsitsipas with scores of 6-2, 6-3.
He will face Djokovic next Thursday.
The Italian had a hugely impressive 2025, winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon and reaching the finals of the French Open and US Open.
