Senior IPS officer Sachin Mittal has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Jaipur in view of major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan.
The Rajasthan government has transferred 34 IPS officers, including key Director General (DG) rank changes. Senior IPS officer Sachin Mittal has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Jaipur in view of major administrative reshuffle in the state. Mittal, a 1996-batch IPS officer, replaces Biju George Joseph, who assumed office in August 2023, according to an official order. Joseph, a 1995 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as ADG (Personnel).

- Sanjay Agarwal has been transferred from the post of Director General (Intelligence) to the post of Director General (Law and Order).
- Vishal Bansal, who served as ADG (Law and Order), has been given the name ADG (SOG).
- Govind Gupta, a 1993 IPS officer, was appointed as DG (Anti-Corruption Bureau).
- Ashok Rathore has been appointed as Director General (Prisons), replacing IPS Gupta.
- IPS Anil Paliwal appointed as new Director General (Education and Traffic)
- Anand Srivastava became DG (SOG).
- VK Singh, who was earlier serving as ADG (SOG-ATS), has been transferred as ADG (Law and Order).
- Dinesh MN, known for leading many high-profile operations, has been appointed as ADG (Anti-Terrorist Squad and Anti-Gangster Task Force) in Jaipur.
