Authorities identify 16 victims killed in AES explosion in Bucksnort community
Authorities have released the names of 16 people who died in the explosion at Accurate Energy Explosives in Hickman County early Oct. 10.
The news came at a press conference held outside the company gates on October 13. Sheriff Chris Davis of Humphreys County and Jason Craft of Hickman County took turns reading the victims’ names.

“There are a lot of things that are still active in the scene,” Davis said, noting that they are still moving at a snail’s pace.
