Music producer David Foster, 75, looked exhausted as he failed to smile throughout the weekend.

Yolanda Hadid’s ex was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California, with his much younger wife, actress Katharine McPhee, 41.

The Canadian composer, musician, arranger, record producer and songwriter, who has worked with Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, was dressed simply.

She told Variety: ‘I’m a workaholic and I move around a lot.

‘Kat and I started touring together four or five years ago. It’s a nice little show and we talk about our lives and how we came together.

‘For the longest time I was just playing music in the studio. While I continued to stay in the studio and record more, artists got to go and enjoy our work and get feedback from live audiences. So it was great to finally get out there and perform these songs with Kat.’

David also recently came out of retirement to work on Jennifer Hudson’s new Christmas album, saying: ‘That was so much fun. I literally haven’t made a record in 10 years and it took a long time for someone to talk me out of retirement. “This is a great record.”

David also revealed how his career changed after he stopped producing records; ‘Boop!’ is Dave Fleischer’s musical-comedy adaptation of the 1930s cartoon character Betty Boop. including an offer to write music for.

He said: ‘I didn’t want to stop working. [Producer] Bill Haber asked me and I said yes, of course. It sounded like a good challenge because you don’t need to write a hit song for Broadway; You just have to write a good song.

‘And I felt like I could still write a good song. We actually had a Zoom yesterday and I got to write a new song. It’s a moving target, as you probably know.’
