Trump Brags About Being Called ‘Greatest President in History’ — By Famously Pro-Trump Author

Minister Donald Trump sent Real Social Saturday Modestly boasting about the praise he received from a famous pro-Trump writer.
“Wow! Great! Art (Arthur) Laffer, Ronald Reagan’s Trump, the economic ‘genius’ and highly respected by all, said in his speech last night: ‘Donald Trump is the greatest President in history, bar none,’ Trump wrote.
The President continued, “Such an honor coming from such a wise man. He also said, ‘Tariffs are working in a big way.’ Our country is rich and admired again!”
Leffer’s interviews Friday night did not reveal the same language the president used in his Truth Social post. An X user also asked Grok about the president’s post, and the response was: “No verification of speech or quotes found in searches.”
But, axios I did Quote from Laffer In an April interview, he called Trump “a great negotiator” and “the best president of his lifetime.”
Regardless, Leffer, known as the “father of supply-side economics,” has been effusive in his praise of President Trump, especially since his tenure as Trump’s economic advisor in 2016. Leffer was known to influence Trump’s 2016 campaign tax policy. Trump awarded Laffer the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019.
Last week, Politico quoted Laffer “‘A gentleman’s C’: Some conservative economists take issue with Trump’s ‘A+++++’ economics.”
In his article, while giving himself notes on the economy, Laffer said, “Trump should be taken ‘seriously’, but not ‘literally’.” But “the economy is very good,” he added.
Laffer continued, “Three plus plus plus, I don’t know what the word is. But I think he’s doing a great job and I expect it to be very positive over the next few years.”
Laffer was apparently quoting Trump as saying his rating on the economy should be “A+++++”.
But Laffer once feared Trump’s tariffs and “blamed the White House’s trade policy for the ‘most frightening, in-flight’ economic moment of his life.”
“I don’t know how anyone looking at the facts could argue that protectionism didn’t cause the crisis,” Laffer told Axios. “The greater the protectionism, the greater the crisis. Reducing tariffs and protectionism will cause a boom in the economy.”
