Anti-encroachment Drive Clears Illegal Structures in Ballari
Ballari: Continuing its crackdown against encroachments, the district administration made a fresh attempt to clear illegal structures on government land near Andral Ring Road on Wednesday, days after a similar operation was carried out on April 16.
The violation was detected in Investigation No. 1, where cement structures and other structures were uncovered without permission, officials said. The administration removed the structures using excavators as part of ongoing efforts to reclaim government land.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Zuber N, who oversaw the operation, said the action was part of a crackdown to protect public property. The official warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible for rape as well as anyone encouraging such activities.
He also warned that legal action would be taken against those who obstruct the government’s work or cause public nuisance. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh HD, DDLR Pramod, officials and staff from Ballari taluk collector’s office and other staff were present during the drive.
