Space X’s next-generation Starship V3 rocket is finally set to launch on Thursday after its maiden flight was delayed twice. The new launch window opens on Thursday at 17.30 CT (23.30 BST).

The V3 has been described by many as the largest and most powerful rocket ever built. Weighing approximately 5,000 metric tons, Starship and the Super Heavy booster are over 124 meters tall. It comes equipped with increased fuel capacity and engines capable of producing 18 million pounds of thrust. This is a critical launch for Space X owner Elon Musk’s goal of one day sending humans to Mars. The launch from Texas will be available on the Daily Express website via SpaceX’s website.
