Major security concerns just days before Meghan’s Australian retreat | Royal | News

Meghan Markle faces major security concerns just days before her retreat in Australia. The 44-year-old actress will host a women-only wellness retreat at a five-star hotel on Sydney’s Coogee Beach from April 17-19.
The event, which had 300 tickets available, was reportedly overshadowed after trolls posted online that they planned to attend Meghan’s event and “secretly record” it.
The event, organized by Her Best Life podcast, promises guests yoga, sound healing, meditation, sessions with a psychologist and a disco night experience.
It will also see Meghan attend a gala dinner herself, as well as a “fireside chat” Q&A session.
One fan wrote to X: “If Meghan Markle doesn’t despise me enough, she’s about to hate me even more.
“I made a plan to attend the best life weekend with a friend who lives in Sydney, they were accepted and guaranteed their place. Good luck finding out who you are, Meghan [laughing-face emoji].”
Explaining what they planned to do during the onboarding, the user added: “There are push-button cameras, meta glasses, we’ve covered all the bases. Now they’re accepted. Let the games begin!!!”
Another user said Australians could create chaos when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travel to the country, with one user adding: “I know there will be people heckling her and protesting outside the event… us Aussies have lots of surprises in store for her.”
Prince Harry, who is traveling with his wife, was announced as a speaker at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit.
The couple is reportedly ready to travel without their two children; Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are expected to be cared for in Montecito with pre-arranged child care.
