Macron names ally Sébastien Lecornu as new French PM

President Emmanuel Macron elected close Ally Sébastien Lecornu as the new French Prime Minister, and 24 hours after the vote of confidence, he dismissed François Bayrou as the president of his government.
Lecornu was among the favorites to take over, and in a statement, Elysée Palace, France’s next budget to adopt political parties to adopt the task of consultation, he said.
