Woman Dies, Husband and Son Injured in Road Accident Near Malkapuram

Nalgonda: A woman died and her husband and son were injured when their scooter was rear-ended by an unidentified vehicle near Malkapuram on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway on Sunday.

Police said the couple, P. Durga (25) from Gurramguda, Hyderabad, her husband and their son were returning from visiting the Sri Parvathi Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy temple in Cheruvugattu on Sunday morning when the accident occurred.

While Durga was seriously injured and died at the scene, her husband and son were taken to the hospital.
