President Donald Trump expressed frustration with the GOP’s failure to sell out his economy while giving Fox News an exclusive look inside the White House as he begins his 10th month in office.
The commander in chief welcomed Fox News host Laura Ingraham to the White House, toured the Presidential Hall of Fame and previewed the new ballroom planned for the former East Wing space. He praised economic growth and the intention to further reduce costs, describing it as an almost “surgical” effort.
“Republicans aren’t talking about this. Democrats are lying… And I say this all the time: Republicans have to talk about the fact that prices are falling,” Trump told “The Ingraham Angle.”
The president called out GOP lawmakers for failing to highlight what he called “the greatest economy in history.”

He targeted former President Joe Biden, accusing him of alienating American investments.
“Biden couldn’t raise anything, couldn’t invest anything,” Trump said. “I think investment has flowed out of our country. I’m up to almost $18 trillion now in nine months. That’s the largest investment in the history of the world. China has never done that, never even close to that… It’s an investment, it’s building auto factories, it’s building artificial intelligence facilities. By the way, we’re pretty much leading China on AI.”
Trump also praised the pace of his administration’s economic efforts since taking over Biden’s White House.
“I haven’t been here for a long time. Nine months is not a long time, but look at what I’ve done on energy, look at the price of gasoline,” he said.

The president noted one of the first economic successes of his second term: lowering egg prices after prices hit a record high in January.
“They were hitting me with eggs. The price of eggs has quadrupled and they’re yelling at me. I said, ‘I just got here,'” Trump said. “We’re out of eggs. We finished them all.”

“We’ll get all this done very quickly, very easily. It’s a surgery. It’s beautiful to watch,” he said.
