Leeds station LIVE: ‘Do not travel’ warning after signal fault chaos | UK | News

A major power outage at a major train station in the UK has sparked chaos, with passengers warned not to travel. Problems with signals have halted CrossCountry, London North Eastern Railway, TransPennine Express and Northern services in Leeds. TransPennine Express said all services at the station were either canceled or postponed. He added: “All lines are blocked due to a fault in the signaling system in Leeds.
“There is a fault in the signaling system at Leeds, all lines between Manchester Victoria and York via Leeds will be closed. TransPennine Express services will NOT operate on the following routes between Manchester Victoria and York via Leeds and from Manchester Victoria to Scarborough in both directions on 30/11/2025.” The public was also prevented from entering the station beyond the gates.
