911 calls reveal chaos after Renee Good fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis

New documents released by Minneapolis authorities shed light on the chaos that ensued at the scene after Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer last week.

The report, obtained by Fox News Digital, included an incident report, 911 call transcripts and witness statements from the Minneapolis Fire and Police departments.

The documents were released late Thursday.

The 911 call transcripts consisted of 17 pages of calls from the area in the moments after Good was shot and offered an irreverent, fragmented look at eyewitness accounts.

The searches began shortly after 09.38 on Wednesday, January 7, and according to the information obtained, “[multiple] shouting voices [and] screaming in the background.”

“I saw an ICE officer (inaudible) [fire] Two shots were fired at the driver through his windshield. “According to records, a caller attempted to drive away but crashed into the nearest parked vehicle,” he said.[Her] His partner had gotten out of the vehicle and ran to help. The operator asked the caller if Good was nearby, and he responded that he was across the street and that ICE had moved away from the incident.

Another caller described the moment agents shot at Good’s vehicle.

“They just shot a woman. In her car at close range,” the caller said. “They shot him like this: [be]Because he wouldn’t open his car door.”

The same person said someone at the scene recorded video and captured the moment Good was shot. In the hours after the shooting, numerous videos of the incident began circulating online.

It turned out that another person in the transcript was calling on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). According to the transcript, the caller requested emergency assistance and relayed a message to agents at the scene.

The caller reported that “officers were trapped in a vehicle,” “agitators were on scene,” and “shots were fired by local residents.” The operator asked for a description of the attacker, and the caller replied: “I don’t have any of that stuff, we’re just trying to get help.”

According to the police report, the fire brigade began providing “medical aid” at 09.45 after arriving at the scene. The report also stated that a crowd had begun to form in the area and that “crowd control and [the] The area is closed.”

The report states that at 9:50 a.m., the crowd began to become hostile, and at 9:52 a.m., more law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene to assist in crowd control efforts. The report also noted that “agitators” later cut crime scene tapes created by law enforcement.

The agent who opened fire on Good was no longer at the scene as of 10:04 a.m. The agent was transported to the “federal building,” and police on scene requested the “evacuation” of the federal agents, according to the report. [the] Stage when safe and as fast as possible [possible]”

The report indicates that at 11:01 a.m., ICE agents were “surrounded” and by 11:20 a.m. all agents had left the scene.

The report also included reports of flags being burned and people remaining at the scene throwing ice and snowballs at police officers. The incident was closed around 16.59 local time.

Good suffered four gunshot wounds, two to the chest, one to the left forearm and one to the left side of his head, according to the fire department report. Initial reports indicated Good was shot three times.

DHS officials said the ICE officer fired in self-defense after Good drove his Honda Pilot SUV in a threatening manner. DHS said the video shows Good interfering with ICE officers by parking his vehicle on the road in an attempt to block federal vehicles.

Life-saving efforts continued at the scene while he was transported by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center, according to previous reporting by Fox News Digital. CPR was discontinued at 10:30.

Good’s family is now represented by Romanucci & Blandin, a Chicago-based law firm that represented George Floyd and Sonya Massey.

The firm sent an “evidence preservation” letter to the federal government, according to a statement sent to Fox News Digital on Thursday.
