Man dead after police, paramedics called to Waterloo apartment
During the interaction with police and medical officials in the south of Sydney, a critical event was declared after a man died.
Emergency services were called for welfare control at Waterloo at 2 o’clock on Tuesday.
After entering the Pitt Street Unit Complex, medical officials tried to calm a 45 -year -old man with the help of the police. The man then fell unconscious.
When the investigation emerges, it remains unclear why the man was soothed.
Later, the 45 -year -old was transferred to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, because both the police and the medical officials tried to revive him.
It was announced that he died in the hospital.
A crime was established in the Waterloo unit and a critical event was declared.
Critical events are events that contain a member of the police force and cause a person’s death or serious injuries.
When the declaration is made, more investigations are initiated. This will be investigated by the State Crime Command’s murder team with the supervision of the law enforcement behavior commission.
The investigation will be subject to an independent examination by the Professional Standards Command.
